2. LAST OF THE INDEPENDENTS was issued in May , and also includes the hits "Night in My Veins" and "". The twelve bonus tracks include b-sides, live tracks and demos, as well as two soundtrack songs - The Pretenders' covers of "I'm Not in Love" and "Every Day Is Like Sunday"/5(65).

3. Released in “Last Of The Independents” was a good, but in my opinion not a great Pretender’s cd. I still feel their first three albums were their best. The two hits here “Night In My Veins” and “I’ll Stand By You” are by far the standouts tracks/5(62).
